When you become born-again, you enter into the principles and laws of a new kingdom. One of the most overlooked principles is that of sacrifice—the cost one must pay to experience the glory and presence of God.
Many desire God’s glory but are unwilling to pay the price for experiential knowledge of Him. Are you willing to replace social media or TV with Scripture? Personal goals with God’s will? Your life for His? (Galatians 2:20)
The Bible teaches that you must offer yourself as a living sacrifice (Romans 12:2) and that to bear good fruit, you must be pruned (John 15:2). In Luke 9:23,
Jesus said, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” Every Bible character from Abraham to Paul paid a price.
The Master Himself paid the ultimate price. Why should you be any different? What price are you willing to pay for His glory? Embrace the cost, carry your cross daily, and manifest God in your life.
Shalom.
