Many believers have been taught to pray to God for all their needs—whether for a new job, a new car, a new spouse, or a breakthrough. However, this approach doesn’t necessarily lead to a victorious life where you rise above challenges, overcome spiritual attacks, and attract favor into your life.
Paul reminds us in his letter to the Romans that God works all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
Therefore, instead of turning to prayer for every challenge, the first step should be discovering and aligning yourself with your God-given purpose.
By operating within it, you’ll find that you have fewer needs to pray about—this has certainly been my experience.
This year, identify and pursue your God-given purpose. Then, watch as the Lord works everything out for your good.
